Leg curls for infinity! Aside from strengthening the hamstrings, this movement also challenges several other muscle groups. The gastrocnemius of the calf, the popliteus of the knee, and the gracilis and sartorius of the thigh work with the hamstrings to bend the knees and pull the ball in. Throw in the stabilizing muscles working – abs, erector spinae, glutes and the tibialis anterior – and you have one great exercise for stronger legs and improved balance and coordination!


Beautiful balance! Squats primarily engage the large muscles in your legs and glutes; you’ll see greater results in balance and core strength using a BOSU ball with your squats!
