Carina WestonCarina Weston | Owner of Pro Fitness Network | Personal Trainer

Carina’s love for health and fitness started as a young girl growing up in Sweden. Upon moving to California in the early 90s, she opened Pro Fitness Network. Her goals were to provide clients with the best in personal fitness such as personal training, kettlebell training and Pilates. As she continued to grow, she saw the need for other aspects related to better overall health. Acting on this revelation Carina developed a team of fitness professionals and added other wellness services such as massage, acupuncture, and nutritional counseling. Carina was nearly paralyzed in a near fatal accident that broke her neck in five places. It took two years of grueling physical therapy, rehab and weight training to fully recover. Today she has no lingering pain from the ordeal. After surviving such severe accident she realized that you have nothing unless you have your health. With that in mind, she strove to create workout programs for all different kinds of people. Whether your goal is to get stronger, lose weight, or recover from injuries, Carina will help develop a workout program that is tailored to your needs. Today Carina specializes in working with more clients at the same time for a lower cost, which is semi-personal training. Carina’s commitment to health and well-being not only helped her overcome this devastating injury, but it also deepened her empathy for others with similar circumstances and inspired her to help others achieve their health and fitness goals. Carina lives in the Altadena area, and is a the proud mother of beautiful twin girls.

She is currently working on her Bachelor’s Degree  in Kinesiology at California State University of Los Angeles  and plans to earn a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.  Having worked for a Chiropractor and also in a spa, she focuses on the big picture as well as the little pieces of the puzzle when strategizing and working to improve the health and wellness of her clients. She utilizes a combination of modalities such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and energy work. Her passion is rooted in connection and communication; Jackie hopes to create a safe place to facilitate awareness and healing between the client and his/her body.

Lauren Manwaring | Massage Therapist

Lauren’s lifelong motto is that there is something to learn with each experience, so long as a person is present and listening. As a graduate from Hands on Healing in Tujunga, she brings that philosophy to the table and follows the body into wellness.

Lauren’s niche is deep touch and her aim is to bring harmony through the body by means of melting, sinking, and deliberate motions that guide her through the client’s tissue. The methods of doing which shift as she continues her education in Sports Massage, Myofascial techniques, and kinesiology. She also believes that achieving this overall harmony comes from shifting our habits; by bringing attention to which repetitive actions are creating tension, as well as understanding what our bodies are asking for on a daily basis, one can ultimately gain pain relief and more fluid movement.

Kristin Pitman | Massage Therapist

Kristin is a graduate of Hands on Healing Institute in Tujunga and is known as the “Stealthy Tissue Specialist” due to her client-customized fusion of Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Sports modalities in her sessions. As she would tell you there are a myriad of things we all explore, learn about, and bring awareness to in our day to day lives, but it is often our own bodies that are the most mysterious to us. “Ouch, where did that pain come from? What can I do?” Bringing an individual’s innate curiosity back into those tricky muscles and tissues to find relief and empowerment through transformative bodywork and self-care is her main goal and motivation as a therapist.
